server lag made me annoyed

"World of Warcraft definitely set new standards. It's so bad that I can't even lose my addiction to a new MMO because I keep comparing it to World of Warcraft and focus on the negative things. The combat system in World of Warcraft is superb. If they added it to Star Wars Galaxies, returned the rest of the game to the pre-NGE days with professions and alpha class Jedis and then upgraded the graphics, I'd be all over SOE for a copy of the game. But while they managed to turn Star Wars Galaxies into a sorry immitation of World of Warcraft, they forgot to add the combat system and the upgraded graphics. Not to mention the latency issues. Oh man. I'm running my games on this new quad core Intel rig with a decent gaming fitting (60-75 fps in Shattrath with all settings on max - except for the resolution), and the computer had no trouble rendering all the stuff in the game. Heck, on my old rig it would lag so bad when I got into major cities that I simply logged off in frustration. We're talking 1-2 fps or simply frozen screen. Now it's probably somewhere around 60 or 70 fps and no issues at all. However, the server side lag is still there. Imagine running past the Fargodeep Mine in Elwynn Forest on your way to Stormwind. You run right past one of them kobolds, but he just stands there and nothing appears to flag you for combat. guild wars gold Okay, sweet, you dodged the aggro or whatever. Now, imagine you reach the gates of Stormwind and suddenly you're flagged for combat, you lose 90% of your health and realize the kobold is right behind you, hitting you 20 times in a row (kind of like pre-nerf windfury, really).

That's Star Wars Galaxies. wow powerleveling I'm a rebel Jedi and I can run past Stormtroopers on my way out of the city. Nothing happens until I reach the outskirts of the city when the lag suddenly dies down and the Stormtroopers do a Flash Gordon from the centre of the city to me while launching a million blaster bolts, hitting me for all those seconds worth in damage. Of course, I'm an uber Jedi and just slay them right then and there. billig wow gold But still, it's annoying. There's a 5-second lag on everything." ": Want to speed up your cookie baking. Maybe you only have one cookie sheet. wow Rather than waiting for your first batch of cookies to finish baking, you can fill a second sheet of parchment paper with your second batch of drop cookies or rolled cookies. When your first batch is done, slide the parchment paper and baked cookies off the pan, and then slide the sheet of unbaked cookies on. Neater rolled cookies: Have you ever rolled and cut out cookie dough only to find that it had become stuck to the counter top or board. If you try to scrape up the cookies with a spatula they deform and moosh together. Parchment paper to the rescue! Try rolling out the cookie dough on lightly floured parchment paper, and then cut out cookies as usual. lotro gold The cookies will be much easier to remove from the parchment paper. By the way, the Tauren Chef recommends lining your baking sheet with parchment paper when making Delicious Cave Mold Cookies, Gingerbread Cookies, Winter Veil Cookies, and the canine and feline Hunter Pet Treats. Neater brownies and bar cookies: Brownies and bar cookies can be difficult or messy to remove from baking pans.
